2D1N Bintan : Arrival
Date: 17/03/2012
Bintan Island is part of the Riau Islands province of Indonesia and is located less than 40 kilometers from Singapore. We took a ferry to go there, and instead of staying at those beach resorts on the northern coast of Bintan island, we were looking for back-to-basics chill-out homestay on Bintan's east coast, in the Trikora region. With a 12-seater Travelo minibus taxi arrange by Marc (guesthouse's owner), it took us almost one hour to reach Mutiara beach guesthouse located on island's east coast.
