Date: 17&18/3/2012

The spa is amazing, by professionals. They have a variety of treatments to chose from.We get to do selection of oil also
Aroma River Spa is located next to Mutiara Beach Guesthouse.
The pavilions are made of natural materials, with minimum impact on the environment.
Staff of the river spa and the guesthouse are employed from the nearby village.
A leisure drive through the village and plantations to Aroma River Spa
Aroma River Spa, Bintan's only floating spa in the mangrove
Sampan ride to Aroma River Spa

2D1N Bintan: "Pondok" @ Mutiara Beach Guesthouse
Date: 17&18/03/2012
Pondok was basic but very clean and spacious! Complete with ceiling fan, mosquito nets and coils, candles and 4 mattresses. Toilets/bathrooms-are located away from the huts in typical "kampong" (ie, village) style.
Mutiara provides what we need and the perfect environment for a real break away from modern and hurried urban life and the ideal destination to get back to basics and rediscover the joys of kampong life.
The 'Pondoks' : a simple accomodation surrounded by coconut trees and a nice white sand beach

2D1N Bintan : Arrival
Date: 17/03/2012
Bintan Island is part of the Riau Islands province of Indonesia and is located less than 40 kilometers from Singapore. We took a ferry to go there, and instead of staying at those beach resorts on the northern coast of Bintan island, we were looking for back-to-basics chill-out homestay on Bintan's east coast, in the Trikora region. With a 12-seater Travelo minibus taxi arrange by Marc (guesthouse's owner), it took us almost one hour to reach Mutiara beach guesthouse located on island's east coast.
