Off-road: BBQ @ Hatta Pool
Date:21/5/2010
We start our journey at 5.30am in the morning
and reached Hatta Pool around 8.30am.
It was very quiet coz we were the only family there.
We manage to find a place that is cool and shady
to set up our BBQ fire and picnic table.
A dip in the cool natural water pools
"Kodak" moment
yum...yum
It is a nice place to relax, BBQs, and Swim!!!
You can find some small fishes and rarely quite big fish by chance.

Date: 19/12/2009
Preparing our breakfast
Hard boil eggs...yummy!
Continue our exploring the nearby wadi after breakfast

For our return journey we go back to Hatta
We used the Hatta-Munay-Khor Kalba route to go to Fujairah
Khor Kalba Nature Reserve
Seagulls

Lunch at Fujairah
On our way home we visited the camel racetrack
and Falaj Al Moalla near to Digdaga
Camels
Forest of ghaf trees
After good rains the area becomes incredibly green

The groups of shady ghaf trees offer good
places for picnic, camping or resting.

2D1N: Off Road+Camping Trip (day 1)
Date: 18/12/2009
J's parents were here for holiday,
so we decide to bring them to experience the
off road in UAE and camping at Hatta mountain.
Since it was raining continuously for 3 day last week
I'm sure there will be lots of water at the Wadi now
We start our journey early in the morning around 6am
Beautiful sunrise
We reach Hatta around 9am and had our breakfast
at one of the restaurant nearby
After breakfast, we visited the Hatta Dam
and then continue our journey to Hatta Pool
Instead of going to the same pool this time we decide to
try another pool. On the way to the pool we pick up
some fire wood which left by others.
The road that will lead us to the plateau
Wadi Hatta
A challenging drive on this rolling track that leads to
a plateau and then down a rocky track to a very scenic wadi
A plateau with a steep-sided gorge
Wadi Hatta with lot of water after rain

We walked to the pool
Crystal clear water
Some locals do the dishes
The rocky road we walked to the pool just now
Back to the main route to our camp site
Our camp site
After having our early dinner we went out
for further exploring at Wadi Ash Shiyah
Small waterfall at Wadi Ash Shiyah

Beautiful rock
Sunset and time to go back to our camp site

so we decide to bring them to experience the
off road in UAE and camping at Hatta mountain.
