Pura Luhur Uluwatu is one the most spectacular temple on the island of Bali. The inner sanctum of the pura is perched majestically on the edge of a steep cliff that towers above the legendary surf breaks of southern Bali. Pura Luhur Uluwatu is regarded as one of the six most important temples in Bali (along with Pura Besakih, of course!). Its location on the south westernmost precinct of this magical island guards the Balinese from the evil spirit of the ocean.

Bangli located precisely in the central part of Bali Province, is the only of the nine regencies in Bali that has no coastal areas. The mountainous area with its beautiful valleys and steep slopes give this northern part of the region its unique side.

Pura Goa Lawah is in Kusamba village in the Bali west. Pura Goa Lawah is one in six representative temples in Bali. This temple is famous as "Bat's cave temple".

6D Bali: Tenganan (Day 4)

Tenganan Village is one of the oldest Balinese Traditional located in Karangasem Regency, east part of Bali. Tenganan is also one of several ancient villages in Bali, which is usually called “Bali Aga”. Villagers maintain a strict cosmology and social organization. Villagers must live inside the village and marry from within.

Tenganan is charming and has some very fascinating authentic traditional festival (ritual dances and gladiator) like Bali Aga of Tenganan often holds the battle between local youths. The people of Tenganan are skilled in the unique technique of weaving, called the ‘double ikat’, where the belief in the magical power of the fabric is essential in bringing out the beauty of the ikat cloth.
