Exploring Dibba Al Hisn

Part1: Wadi Wurrayah Waterfall

Date: 15 May 2009

From Wadi Wurrayah we drove
northwards into the centre of Dibba

Some characteristic landmark in Dibba
After crossing few roundabout and junctions
we pass a sign saying "Welcome to Oman"
This will be the road officially goes into Oman,
no visas are required. However, you still need
to show your passports here.
We are in Daba Al Hisn/Dibba Al Hisn now
We continue driving until we come to a roundabout where
we have to choose to head directly towards the mountains
or take a short side trip to the coast near Dibba
We have been planned to stay overnight at Dibba
so we take the right turn towards the sea

A great place for picnic or overnight camping
and perfert for relaxing after a long drive too.

Having explored the beach, we return to the
roundabout and following the sign to Khasab
till we reach a fork where we go left to these villages

fufu: ya...there is a harbour here!! ppl used to take Dhow cruise to see dophine from here, or you can book for diving or snorkelling tour too. It is not that far from Dubai. To get here the best way is driving, the cost of living here is quite high compare to M'sia. For travelling if you come in Winter u can do camping while travelling so that will save more for u
