Haikou-day2 "The Wugong Temple"

Date: 24 August 2008

3rd visit: Wugong Temple (Five Officials' Temple)

Wugong Temples, are approximately 5 kilometers (about 3.1 miles) from the centre of Haikou City, and were originally constructed during the reign of Emperor Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It was renovated on several occasions during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Now, it is a place known for its sense of peace, tranquility and beauty.




After visited "Tomb of Hai Rui" & "Wugong Temple"
we went to one of our relative's apartment for coffee.
On our way to thier house we also visited
the local wet market and Haikou corniche



Finally we drove all the way to
Yanfeng town for our dinner
I have fallen asleep in the car
on our way back to hotel after the dinner
