Day 2 Family Trip - Penang Snake Temple, War Museum & Akuarium

It was a quite Sunday morning
From the hotel, I can see all shops are closed
and the street was very quite

We just took a 10 minute walk
to one of the Dim Sum Restaurant
nearby to the hotel we stayed for breakfast

After breakfast we decided to visit
some of the places of interest

1st, we visited Snake Temple
which was located at Sungai Kluang
near Bayan Lepas airport in the Penang Island

Nothing much to see there because
the temple was under renovation
so, I just took the photo of the snake
since this was my 2nd visit to Snake Temple


2nd, we drove all the way to Batu Maung
to visit the War Museum

The War Museum gives a unique experience to any visitor,
and gives one an opportunity to get away from
the hustle and bustle of the city.

For this type of place, the pictures speak more
than anything else. So enjoy the photos!



3rd, The Penang Aquarium, officially the
Fisheries Department Research Institute Aquarium,
is a medium-size aquarium located within the
Fisheries Research Institute complex in Batu Maung

The aquarium has 25 tanks to showcase various
types of marine life, especially those found in the regional waters.

Besides, there is a koi pond outside the aquarium.
You allowed to feed the koi fish and the turtles,
but only with certain food provided by the aquarium staffs.
It’s really fun seeing the turtles and the koi fish feeding on the food.

After visited to this 3 places
our kids felt very tired and they need to rest
We decide to take a nap in the hotel
since the weather was very hot in the afternoon

At night we had dinner with one of
our relative at the Vegetarian Restaurant
