7D6N Jordan: Arrived at Amman

Date: 28/11/2009

Arrived at Queen Alia International Airport, Amman 9am.
Then we got our car from the rental company at the airport
and we drove all the way to Petra on the same day
We reached Petra and check in to the hotel at 3pm

We take the Desert Highway to Petra

Lunch at the local restaurant
After 2 hours drive we arrived at Wadi Mousa/Petra
The village of Wadi Mousa
The village is up in the hills
"The Valley of Moses" is also supposed to be the place
where in early Biblical times, Moses struck the rock
"to bring forth water"
