We spent 5 nights at Swan Inn on our trip to Bali and really enjoyed it. Swan Inn is a typical Balinese home stay, with bungalows of various grades and sizes located in a family compound. The family and staff were unobtrusive, most pleasant, friendly, and helpful. It was just a short walk away from bustling Monkey Forest Road, and yet it is so quiet and peaceful.
The location was fantastic, only a couple minutes walk from the heart of Ubud which is very convenient, but remind that you have to walk a bit from the main street with big suitcase (if you have those), because cars cannot enter from the street.
The room was simple but comfortable and included a light breakfast brought to your room every morning. Room rates are very reasonable. It is depending on your needs and budget - room size, type, privacy, and newness varies. Bungalows with kitchens are available.
