10D Sarawak: Mulu National Park - Wind Cave

Date: 7/12/2013

The cave was named "wind cave" because of the cool breezes which can be felt at the narrow parts of the cave. Wind Cave was actually part of the Clearwater Cave system and you could see many unique and impressive stalactites, stalagmites, flowrocks, helitites and rock corals and... so many other beautiful formations.

A short boat ride from the Park HQ along Melinau River,
takes about 20-30 minutes welcome you The Wind Cave

Entrance to Wind Cave

The 350m long cave has beautiful rock formations, stalagmites and stalactites, made by the river who flow through the cave million years ago and the dripping water from the cave ceiling.
