Off Road Buraimi-Hatta: Mahdah

We stopped over at Mahdah for lunch
before we continue our journey to Khatwa

Mahdah/Mahda is the large Omani oasis town.
This is the catchment area for all the water that comes
down from the nearby mountains and the reason
why Mahda is such a green and popular town

Here are the few places we visited after lunch:

Palm Plantation with fortifications around them
Aflaj Irrigation System/Falaj in the plantation
Palm trees in pretty sad shape
Modern House
Ruined mud houses
