Bethany beyond Jordan, or the Baptism Site, is one of Jordan's most important Christian Holy Paces. It is not only believed that Jesus Christ was baptised here in the Jordan River by John the Baptist, but also this is the location where all three entities of the Holy Trinity manifested their physical presence to humanity.
