Jerash is one of the largest and finest of the ancient
Roman cities to be found outside of Italy,
and rivaled only by Ephesus in Turkey

Driving to Jerash
Jerash is easy to reach from Amman

Hippodrome - nearly 15,000 people could be seated
here to watch the sports and chariot races
