Boots the Monkey is Dora's best friend on the show, whom she met one day in the forest. Boots is friendly and enthusiastic, and usually wears nothing but his beloved red boots, hence his name, Boots. He is gray with a yellow stomach.

Diego Márquez is an 8-year-old rough-and-tumble action-adventure hero on the go! An Animal Rescuer with an intense love of animals. Diego needs to jump, swing, and sing in English and Spanish to overcome perlious obstacles and problems on his high-stakes animal adventures. This TV series aims to foster a love and respect for animals and the environment.
