We have to cancel our trip to Dubai this morning due to the heavy dust storms and cold breeze blew across the emirate. According to the news the conditions are expected to remain unchanged for Saturday and temperatures are likely to plummet.
Here are some of the photos I have taken while we drove in the town this afternoon.Abu Dhabi’s skyline disappeared in the sandy haze and strong winds accompanied by sandstorms making driving hard for many motorists as high-rising sand also affected the visibility on the main roads.

Wow, that a sandstorm? I can imagine it gets into your eyes, scratch your cars.....eeeee, and right now we having a horrible snow storm. Whole day snowbound, snow two feet high beside my car, can't come out till snowplow comes.
And a wow again. You in the middle East? And going to Dubai, see those lovely buildings, that hotel looking like a sailboat?
I have been to Dubi, but ha ha, only at Duty free at airport, thats all.
Hope to go there one day.

Yeah... it was so bad the sand storm, it spoiled my outing for photo hunting.
